Akko Arab-Jewish Community Centre

We were joined by Mohammed Fahili and Clare King Lassman from the Akko Arab-Jewish Community Centre. By sharing their personal stories, we began to understand what it is like to live in a mixed Arab-Jewish town. Fahili explained the story behind the story of the recent inter-communal tensions in Akko.   Clare explained the importance of bi-cultural education and we discussed the significance of learning both Arabic and Hebrew.  Recorded in August 2021

Roots & Muswell Hill Synagogue

The Parents Circle Family Forum

Learn about the The Parents Circle Family Forum – a joint Israeli Palestinian organisation made up of more than six hundred bereaved families. Every member of which has lost a loved one in the conflict and has chosen a path of reconciliation, nor revenge. Recorded in January 2021
