I am delighted to share with you some lovely photographs of our children in the daycare facility over the past two months. As they learned through play, their parents were able to work or seek employment in this especially difficult economic time. From next week, it will be the turn of their older siblings to have some fun together at our ‘Partners in Peace’ Arab-Jewish Summer Camp – an annual favourite at the Centre and supported by so many of you over the years.
Even in these uncertain times, we are planning for the future. The new academic year promises to be a busy one at the Centre. More families from the mixed communities of Akko have signed up to join our highly subsidised and high-quality daycare. Our range of after-school activities are filling up fast and our new university entrance preparatory programme is proving to be a meeting a need, opening new opportunities for the young adults and future leaders of Akko.
