PeacePlayers Middle East

PeacePlayers Middle East uses basketball as a platform to bring together Palestinian and Israeli youth, fostering meaningful relationships, leadership, and mutual understanding across lines of conflict.

Each year, the organization engages more than 700 children and youth (ages 6-25), 75% of whom are girls and young women, with a strong focus on youth from underserved communities. Through year-round sports, leadership development, peace education, volunteering, and community engagement, participants develop the skills and confidence to become leaders in their communities.

The organization works with youth from East and West Jerusalem, central and northern Israel, and the West Bank, creating sustained opportunities for young people who might otherwise never meet to build friendships, challenge stereotypes, and contribute to a more peaceful and inclusive future.
